Our Classic Farmhouse

We have been working on our home for what seems like forever and it is coming together! When I first designed our kitchen, I wanted white on white on white. I am so glad I stuck with it! The added rustic wood pieces have really popped and I now just have a few special pieces to find for the counters! I went with a distressed look for everything, including our dining room and living room pieces! So far, it is working out great with the kids! You can’t tell when Emerson’s trucks put a knick in my table which is an added plus!

Next up, I will be adding some new pictures to the walls to brighten them up and I will be finishing my new Spring center piece for the table! I went with a galvanized chicken feeder that I will fill with fresh herbs and flowers! Here’s to having more of a green thumb this time around!
